Community Engagement Team

We are partnering with outreach workers from the Community Engagement Team to connect with community members from the American-born Black, Bangladeshi, Chinese, Ethiopian, Haitian, Spanish and Arabic speaking communities through focus groups and street surveys. We recently welcomed five new outreach interns from the Bangladeshi, Haitian, Ethiopian, Chinese, and Arabic-speaking communities to our team. These energetic interns are conducting the latest Envision Cambridge survey in their native languages. To date, they have collected approximately 200 surveys!

Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program

Envision Cambridge is also working with youth from the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP) to conduct outreach for Envision Cambridge. They've been busy leading focus groups with other youth to get feedback on the future of our city and putting together their very own social media campaign! Check out #envisioncambridge on Instagram to see what they've been up to!

MSYEP Envision

MSYEP youth build creative models using a variety of materials to share their visions for Envision Cambridge's key planning topics.
